Road restriction and parking lot closure for Hard Knox 12K Run

The first Hard Knox 12K Run will be held on Sunday, Sept. 20. Starting at the base of Knox Mountain, participants will race towards Stuart Park along Ellis St. and the Waterfront pathways before returning back to Knox Mountain Park, out to Paul’s Tomb, and back to finish at the base of the park.

To accommodate the event, there will be single-lane alternating traffic on Poplar Point Drive from approximately 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. as participants return to the base of the park from Paul’s Tomb.

The lower Knox Mountain Park parking lot will be closed from 6 a.m. until 11 a.m.; however, on-street parking will be available.

Knox Mountain Park will remain open to the public. Park users are advised to use caution and watch for participants.
