TORONTO – A group of politically motivated hackers operating under the name the Syrian Electronic Army briefly defaced the websites of the CBC, the NHL and a number of other prominent news outlets on Thursday.
NEW YORK, N.Y. – Dallas Stars forward Ryan Garbutt was suspended for two games by the NHL on Thursday while Winnipeg Jets forward Adam Lowry received a one-game ban for separate incidents this week.
OTTAWA – Former Ottawa Senators captain Daniel Alfredsson is expected to announce his retirement in the city where he became an NHL superstar.
