Sgt. Andrew Doiron to be buried in military cemetery today in Ottawa

OTTAWA – A funeral service is being held today in Ottawa for the Canadian soldier killed in Iraq last week.

Sgt. Andrew Doiron died in what the military has termed a friendly fire incident.

Members of the military carried Doiron's urn into Ottawa's Notre-Dame Cathedral this morning. A large Canadian flag was suspended from cranes on the backs of two fire trucks, and other flags in the area were at half-mast.

Doiron's body was returned home on Tuesday.

He was shot and killed by Kurdish troops as his special forces unit was returning to an observation post a week ago. Three other Canadian soldiers were wounded.

Doiron is the first Canadian soldier to die in Canada's military effort in Iraq, which began last fall.

My sympathy to his family. This is so very sad.

  2. Its sad, this man didn’t have to die, none of the victims, including the ones who killed themselves had to die; all this is caused be a inferiority complex of the US and the Zionist who run it; there is the evidence, you can choose to not watch it, or you can to choose to witness…as is your duty…so this man and other past….and yet to die are not done so in vain. God have mercy on us all as the bastards lead us into wwiii;.http://yournewswire.com/the-illuminati-exposed-by-muammar-gaddafi-video/
