Snoop Dogg named keynote speaker for South By Southwest festival

NEW YORK, N.Y. – Snoop Dogg will be the keynote speaker during the music portion of the South By Southwest music festival.

The organization announced Tuesday that the conversation with the 43-year-old music veteran will take place March 20 at the Austin Convention Center in Austin, Texas.

The fest runs from March 13 through March 22.

Last year’s keynote speaker was Lady Gaga.

Snoop Dogg is planning the release of a new album called “Bush” this spring. It will be produced by Pharrell.
