Strateco Resources Inc. (TSX:RSC). Miner. Up two cents, or 44.44 per cent, to 6.5 cents on 17.5 million shares.
Talisman Energy Inc. (TSX:TLM). Oil and gas. Up 11 cents, or 1.24 per cent, to $9.01 on 12.5 million shares.
Canadian Oil Sands Ltd. (TSX:CNQ). Oil and gas. Up $1.01, or 10.37 per cent, to $10.75 on 7.5 million shares.
Whitecap Resources Inc. (TSX:WCP). Down 41 cents, or 3.40 per cent, to $11.64 on 6.9 million shares.
Spartan Energy Corp. (TSX:SPE). Oil and gas. Down 14 cents, or 4.91 per cent, to $2.71 on 6.3 million shares.
Twin Butte Energy Ltd. (TSX:TBE). Oil and gas. Down five cents, or 5.56 per cent to 85 cents on 5.9 million shares.

Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc. (TSX:ATD.B). Retail. Up $3.67, or 8.63 per cent, to $46.21 on 5.7 million shares. The Quebec-based company has a friendly deal to buy The Pantry Inc., which will add more than 1,500 locations to the company’s U.S. network of convenience stores and fuel stops. The deal values The Pantry at US$1.7 billion, with Couche-Tard paying US$36.75 cash per share.
