Police investigate suspected targeted shooting in Vancouver’s West End

VANCOUVER – Vancouver Police are investigating what they’re calling a targeted shooting in the city’s busy West End.

Const. Brian Montague says several people called 911 at about 3 p.m. Tuesday after hearing possible gunshots.

He says officers arrived and found shell casings in an alley.

Montague says police also stopped a vehicle with bullet holes travelling over the Burrard Street Bridge, which has been temporarily closed to traffic.

No suspects have been identified.
