TORONTO – Kristen Stewart has made her first public appearance in nearly two months at the Toronto Film Festival.
The 22-year star of the “Twilight” series went into lockdown mode after admitting that she had a tryst with the married director of her last film, “Snow White and the Huntsman.”
Hundreds of fans eagerly awaited her return Thursday as she walked the red carpet for her latest film, “On the Road,” based on the Jack Kerouac novel. Stewart posed for photographers, spoke to a few television crews, and signed lots of autographs for fans.
In July, Stewart apologized for her affair with 41-year old director Rupert Sanders. The announcement put her romantic relationship with “Twilight” star Robert Pattinson on hold.
When asked how she was doing, Stewart responded: “I’m doing fine.” Then, she walked away.
