CARACAS, Venezuela – An explosion has rocked the Amuay refinery in Venezuela, and an official says at least seven people are dead and dozens injured.
Falcon state Gov. Stella Lugo said on state television early Saturday that at least seven people were killed and 48 injured.
She says firefighters and National Guard troops were securing the area after the blast at the refinery, located on the Paraguana Peninsula in western Venezuela.
