Quebec man, 77, arrested for alleged possession, distribution of child porn
LAVAL, Que. – A 77-year-old Quebec man is facing child pornography charges stemming from an alleged Internet sexual exploitation case.
Laval police say the man should appear in court on Wednesday to face charges of possession and distribution of child pornography.
Police seized a computer while placing the man under arrest today.
A police spokesman says officers have allegedly found hundreds of photos of minors.
Spokesman Franco Di Genova says the suspect lived alone and did not have a criminal record.
Detectives will question him later today.
