Toronto Stock Exchange (15,266.57, up 62.09 points):
Bombardier Inc. (TSX:BBD.B): Transportation. Up 19 cents, or 0.48 per cent, to $39.50 on 8.05 million shares.
Twin Butte Energy Ltd. (TSX:TBE). Oil and gas. Up six cents, or 1.61 per cent, to $3.78 on 7.3 million shares.
Bioniche Life Sciences Inc. (TSX:BNC). Health-care. Up 15.5 cents, or 96.88 per cent, to 31.5 cents on 4.3 million shares.
Eastern Platinum Ltd. (TSX:ELR). Miner. Unchanged at 11 cents on 3.6 million shares.
Mercator Minerals Ltd. (TSX:ML). Miner. Unchanged at five cents on 3.5 million shares.
Canadian Natural Resources Ltd. (TSX:CNQ). Oil and gas. Up 87 cents, or 1.83 per cent, to $48.32 on 2.7 million shares.
Toronto Venture Exchange (1,012.24, up 6.48 points):
Pine Cliff Energy Ltd. (TSXV:PNE). Oil and gas. Up 35 cents, or 25.36 per cent, to $1.73 on 17.1 million shares.
Petroamerica Oil Corp. (TSXV:PTA). Oil and gas. Down one cent, or 2.99 per cent, to 32.5 cents on 6.6 million shares.
Companies reporting major news:
Ivanhoe Energy Inc. (TSX:IE). Oil and gas. Down 2.6 cents, or 8.62 per cent, to 26.5 cents on 1.2 million shares. The company is asking shareholders to consider a consolidation of its shares on the Nasdaq, where it trades under the symbol (Nasdaq:IVAN). It says the reverse-split would keep it compliant with the New York market’s requirements, which set a minimum bid price on publicly-listed companies.
