Fire break out in Istanbul high-rise; no immediate information on casualties
ANKARA, Turkey – Reports say a fire has broken out in a high-rise building in Istanbul.
Television footage on Tuesday show black smoke rising from the 42-storey Polat Towers that is partly residential and partly occupied by shops and businesses. Firefighters were trying to contain the fire.
There is no immediate information on any casualties.
