WINNIPEG – The Winnipeg Blue Bombers are going to be without quarterback Buck Pierce — again.
Pierce will miss at least a week with an injured left foot, the team confirmed Sunday.
Backup QB Alex Brink will get the start on Wednesday against the Argonauts in Toronto.
Pierce left Friday’s 42-10 loss to the Eskimos in the first quarter after being sacked by Edmonton’s Ted Laurent.
The 30-year-old import missed 13 games due to injury in the 2010 season and two games in 2011.
