Kelowna residents will receive a City of Kelowna 2014 Election voter information card in the mail this week.

The information card was mailed to all households in the city and provides details on the dates, times and locations for general and advance Kelowna voting stations.

“Kelowna voters can pick the place and voting day of their choice,” says Chief Election Officer Karen Needham. “We’ve added new voting locations and expanded the number of advance and general voting opportunities. So Kelowna, come out and cast your vote when and where it is convenient for you.”

Eligible voters are residents of Kelowna for at least 30 days, 18 years or older, who have lived in B.C. for at least six months and are Canadian citizens. To vote, bring two pieces of ID to prove residency and identity (at least one with a signature) to the polling station.

The first of five days of advanced voting is Wednesday, Nov. 5. Election Day is Saturday, Nov. 15.
