The City of West Kelowna is advising the public that blasting activity related to subdivision construction at 2405 Tallus Green Crescent will commence on April 10, 2017 and continue for approximately six weeks.

A blasting permit has been issued to T & A Rock Works Inc. for site blasting for multi-family site development.

Blasting will be permitted Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

As part of WorkSafeBC requirements, safety sirens will be sounded before the blast and once the area is cleared.

An independent company will carry out vibration and air over pressure monitoring.
