West Kelowna traffic delays due to Boucherie drainage project

Motorists are advised that single-lane traffic may be in effect beginning this week as crews continue work on the Boucherie Road Drainage Improvement Project.

The affected portion of Boucherie Road is from approximately Green Bay Road to Sunnyside Road.

Motorists can expect delays if travelling this portion of Boucherie Road for up to eight weeks.

Motorists who want to avoid delays should plan to take alternate routes using East Boundary Road, Hudson Road and Highway 97.

The project which began late last year will see the construction improvements to the watercourse from Boucherie Road to Okanagan Lake.

The City of West Kelowna thanks the travelling public for their patience.
