AUDITIONS: Fifth Annual Angel Award Kelowna

Louise Boisvert is the mother of a child afflicted with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis.

In order to take action for research and to help other local families, Louise created the Angel Award talent competition, now in its fifth year.

This Music Competition and Gala Event has a two-fold mission:

1. The competition offers opportunity and encouragement to young performers who are on a path toward their artistic passion. Through the competition process, these talented young people are supporting those children who, due to illness, are unable to follow their paths.

2. The Angel Award proceeds are donated to research and support of Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis.

Louise feels very passionate about having this disease only heard about in history books.

Angel Award is an exciting one-of-a-kind production that showcases young artists as well as professional groups and soloists. The audience is made up of business sponsors, donors, artists, talent scouts, local dignitaries, as well as parents and peers of the competitors. The young artists (instrumentalists, vocalists, dancers) are the top 10 finalists selected to compete in the Angel Award Gala.

The fifth annual Angel Award will take place on April 2, 2017 at the RCA in Kelowna. And we are still looking for more competitors!
