Blasting in Shannon Lake/Tallus Ridge area begins
The City of West Kelowna is advising the public that blasting activity related to subdivision construction in the Tallus Ridge area, will occur beginning October 24th, 2016 and continue to December 2016.
A blasting permit has been issued to TT Contractors Ltd. for site blasting for Tallus Ridge Stage 8 on Paramount Dr. in West Kelowna.
Blasting will be allowed Monday to Saturday, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. As part of WorkSafeBC requirements, safety sirens will be sounded before the blast and once the area is cleared. The blasting company will monitor for vibrations caused by the blast.
