Backgrounder: National Chemistry Week is an annual, week-long celebration of the chemical sciences in all provinces and territories in Canada. It’s an opportunity for youth to get connected with the wonders of chemistry and for the not-so-young to appreciate chemistry through games, demonstrations, lectures, exhibitions and more.
The events organized by UBC Okanagan’s Chemistry department are open to the public. A small fee participation fee covers material expenses.
