Selecting your primary region ensures you get the stories that matter to you first.
You’re encouraged to share your thoughts and help the Regional District as it finalizes a plan to manage the expanded Woodhaven Nature Conservancy Regional Park.
The long-term Management Plan for the park will help guide the Regional District with future development and amenities.
Information can be viewed online at www.regionaldistrict.com/planourparks, or in person at the RDCO office, 1450 KLO Rd. in Kelowna and at the log kiosk near the Environmental Education Centre for the Okanagan in Mission Creek Regional Park.
The Parks Management Plan webpage also has a link to an online survey for you to provide your comments and feedback about the future of Woodhaven Nature Conservancy Regional Park.
The original 8.7-hectare park located off Raymer Road in the lower Mission area of Kelowna has been a regional park since the 1970s.
In 2013, two additional properties were acquired, adding more than 21-hectares to the original park boundary.
One of the properties is being utilized by the University of BC Okanagan campus Faculty of Creative and Critical Studies for the unique Eco-Cultural Centre program.
