RCMP investigate suspicious death in Kamloops, B.C., after body found
KAMLOOPS, B.C. – Police are investigating a suspicious death after a body was found in Kamloops, B.C.
RCMP Staff Sgt. Simon Pillay says the serious crime unit is leading the investigation, which is in its early stages, and they’re looking for help from the public.
He says it’s a criminal matter and the identity of the victim is unknown.
Police say the body was found on Friday morning near an alley in the area of Carson Crescent.
Pillay says RCMP have spoken to several witnesses at the scene, but he says police believe there are other witnesses who may have information. (CHNL)
