Open House to talk budget and more with West Kelowna council

WEST KELOWNA – West Kelowna Council is hosting an Open House next week to provide information and gather input from the public on this year’s budget and strategic plan.

Information will also be available regarding the upcoming Alternative Approval Process related to the construction of the West Kelowna Civic Centre.

Review the 2016-2015 Financial Plan and find out how your tax dollars will be spent and what big ticket capital items are in the works.

Information on Council’s draft 2016-2018 Strategic Plan, including priorities for this year, will be available as well as information regarding the Alternative Approval Process for the borrowing of funds to construct a new City Hall, part of the West Kelowna Civic Centre project.

Council and staff will be on hand to take questions and refreshments will be provided.
