Warm sunny weekend in store for Okanagan and Kamloops
While the sun’s heat has faded since the glory days of summer, it’s still going to dominate through the weekend in Kamloops and the Okanagan.
Only a week ago, high temperatures in Kamloops hit 38 Celsius. That’s not in the Environment Canada forecast for the next week but it should be sunny this weekend with temperatures reaching into the high 20s, especially in Kamloops.
While today is likely to have a high of only 23 C, the days will grow warmer through the weekend with a forecast high of 28 C on Sunday in Kamloops.
The normal high temperatures for this time of year in Kamloops is 23 C.
While the forecast shows the Okanagan matching Kamloops with a high of 23 C today, the peak temperature on Sunday is expected to only be 26 C.
Still, that's warm compared to the normal for this time of year in the Okanagan of 21 C.
There’s a chance of some clouds moving into the region next week.
