Kelowna’s Rock the Lake already selling tickets for next year

On the heels of the successful classic rock festival in downtown Kelowna this past weekend, tickets are already on sale for next year’s Rock the Lake.

Pent-up demand following a two-year COVID hiatus may explain the huge turnout for the sold-out rock festival this year.

The three-day festival will happen in the parking lot of Prospera Place in Kelowna from Aug. 11 to Aug. 13 next year.

This year’s event featured bands like The Tea Party, A Flock of Seagulls, Nazareth, Moist, Trooper, Chilliwack, Bif Naked and Grapes of Wrath.

Organizers say over 4,000 people a day attended the classic rock festival this year.

This year the festival organizers gave several hundred healthcare workers free tickets.

General admission weekend passes are $175, while VIP weekend passes are selling for $449. Tickets can be purchased by at RTLKelowna.com or by calling 250-762-5050.
