iN VIDEO: Semi trucks narrowly avoid crash after one crosses into other’s lane on Highway 97

A semi-truck driver in Northern B.C. captured a near accident earlier this week on their dashcam.

The footage, submitted to the Skilled Truckers Canada Facebook group, shows a white semi truck passing a red one by driving into the opposite lane through double solid lines.

The footage was captured June 10, on Highway 97, south of 100 Mile House. The pair were travelling in the northbound direction.

At one point, the driver of the white semi veers back into the red semi’s lane, causing the red truck to drive past the white line on the righthand side of the road to avoid a collision.
