New photos released of Kamloops ‘clothes-changing’ robbery suspect

Kamloops RCMP are hoping someone recognizes the suspect in a robbery at a business earlier this week.

Officers were called to an armed robbery at a business in the 1200 block of Summit Drive in the Sahali neighbourhood at approximately 2:50 p.m. Monday, June 6, according to an RCMP media release.

While the police were driving to the unidentified business, the suspect changed clothes behind First Choice Haircutters and took off on foot. Police found the abandoned clothes and a pellet gun.

Police said he changed into jeans and a white floral shirt.

“Since then, investigators have located images of the suspect stealing the clothes he changed into for the robbery,” Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Crystal Evelyn said in the release.
