RCMP investigating assault reported at Tim Hortons in Westbank

West Kelowna RCMP are investigating an alleged assault after a person was injured at a Tim Hortons this past weekend.

Officers responded to a report of an assault at 2330 Highway 97 in Westbank that took place at roughly 12:28 a.m. March 27, West Kelowna RCMP Sgt. Duncan Dixon said via email.

RCMP are interviewing witnesses and collecting surveillance video footage.

The victim of the alleged assault reported minor injuries and a suspect has not been identified, Dixon said.

The motive for the assault is unknown at this time, he said.

The manager at the Tim Hortons location did not immediately return a request for comment.
