Fog causing flight delays at Kelowna airport

With fog hanging over Kelowna this morning, the Kelowna International Airport is warning of flight delays.

"We are experiencing flight delays due to current weather conditions. Please check your flight status with your airline," according to the airport's most recent tweet. All departures this morning, March 18, have been delayed.

Increasing cloudiness is expected this morning in Kelowna but will dissipate, according to Environment Canada's forecast, followed by a 30% chance of showers late this afternoon. Southwest wind is expected to reach 40 km/h near noon.

Tonight will be mainly cloudy with 60 percent chance of showers and the wind will become light this evening.
