Kelowna RCMP searching for missing Vancouver Island man

The Kelowna RCMP is asking for the public's help to find a missing Vancouver Island man who was last seen in the Central Okanagan.

Ivan Glaim-Frank, from Port Alberni, was last seen on Sept. 26 leaving a residence in the 3000 block of Lakeshore Road in Kelowna, according to the RCMP in a press release.

Since his disappearance, police have followed up on several leads but have been unable to find him.

Investigators believe Glaim-Frank may be in the Kelowna area or may have traveled to Vancouver Island.

"Police are very concerned for Ivan’s health and well-being, and family and friends report that it is out of character for him to be out of contact for this long," according to the RCMP.

Glaim-Frank is described as Indigenous, 18-years-old, five-foot-nine and weighs 161 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Ivan is urged to contact their local police, or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
