Last night’s $70 million Lotto Max ticket purchased in Burnaby

Someone in Burnaby is whole lot richer this morning as the sole winner of the largest lottery win in the history of the province.

B.C. Lotteries Corporation doesn't yet know who holds the ticket, but it's worth $70 million. The chances of winning were 1 in 33,294,800.

All lottery prize winners have 52 weeks from the draw date printed on their ticket to come forward to claim their prize. The specific retail location where the winning lottery ticket was purchased, and the lottery winners’ name(s) will be announced after the winner has come forward to claim their prize.

Lotto Max is a nationwide lottery game drawn on Tuesdays and Fridays after 7:30 p.m.
