12th COVID-19 death at Kelowna long-term care home
While there have been no new cases of COVID-19 this month at a Kelowna care home, the death toll has climbed by one to 12.
There have been 48 cases of the virus connected to the outbreak at Spring Valley long-term care in Kelowna, including 36 of the 150 residents, according to an Interior Health media release issued today, June 15.
Interior Health has not said if all the deaths are among residents of the care home.
Currently, it's the only outbreak in the health authority now that the most recent one at Kelowna General Hospital has been declared over.
