Man stabbed at Kamloops motel: RCMP

Kamloops RCMP responded to reports of a fight a Star Lodge on Columbia Street West where they located a man with stab wounds.

Police received reports of the fight just after 3:30 p.m. today, April 20, according to an RCMP press release.

A man in his 50s was found with stab wounds, conscious and breathing, RCMP said. Paramedics arrived on scene to transport him to hospital.

Officers and police dogs searched the area unsuccessfully for evidence and a suspect.

Police are not releasing any further information.
