Kamloops RCMP arrested a man and found several stolen vehicles during an investigation into crimes that happened in Kamloops and Salmon Arm.
Several units including Kamloops Police Dog Services and the Integrated Municipal Provincial Auto Crime Team worked together to arrest Tyler Armstrong, Nov. 4, according to a press release from police today, Nov. 18.
Armstrong has been charged with driving while disqualified, possession of stolen property over $5,000, breach of a release order and two breaches of probation orders.
Armstrong is still in custody, according to court documents.
During the investigation police found several stolen vehicles.
“By working together across jurisdictions, we’re able to hold these individuals accountable and reduce property crime throughout the region,” Kamloops RCMP Supt. Jeff Pelley said in the release.
