La Salle finished 14-19 overall last season while going 10-5 at home. The Explorers averaged 72.0 points per game last season, 29.4 in the paint, 14.0 off of turnovers and 11.1 on fast breaks.

Coppin State finished 4-11 in MEAC play and 1-17 on the road a season ago. The Eagles shot 39.7% from the field and 29.4% from 3-point range last season.
