Kelowna cops arrested a 47-year-old man suspected of lighting three vehicle on fire around the city.
Police believe the man is responsible for a fire on Oct. 19 and two other fires on Oct. 23. Police arrested him without incident and officers searched his home on Oct. 23, according to a press release from police.
Police were called to the 2600-block of Enterprise Way because of a vehicle fire on Oct. 19.
The suspect was caught on a surveillance camera putting flammable products under a vehicle in the evening. After the suspect left a flame started burning under the same vehicle and moments later it was fully engulfed.
The fire ended up destroying multiple vehicles.
The two other fires on Oct. 23 were in the 300-block of Mills Road and started the same way as the Oct. 19.
RCMP continue to investigate.
