Halloween falls on a Friday this year. People who aren’t trick-or-treating have a lot of options for events in Kamloops and the Okanagan.
Kelowna
Haunting Halloween at Crown and Thieves has a ticket price of $89 for a 1920s speakeasy-themed Halloween party from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tickets include three drinks and snacks.
Chances Casino is having an event and anyone in a costume gets $10 of free play, a slot tournament and more. The scariest thing there might not be your odds.
Dakoda’s Comedy Lounge is hosting a roast battle and tickets are $21. Comedians are going to be dressed for the occasion in full costume.
The Hatching Post in West Kelowna is having a free, family friendly event where folks can get a haunted saloon experience with live music from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

A Time Travellers’ Ball at St. Paul’s Cathedral is $25 for tickets online and $30 at the door. It’s a chance for people to embrace big band jazz and get into swing dancing, old school outfits rather than your traditional Halloween costume.
The Night Shift on 5th is having its annual Halloween party with a costume contest that has more than $1,000 in prizes. Tickets are $15 and tickets are sold out online so folks who want to go have to buy them at the door.
Duffy’s Neighbourhood Pub is having a Halloween Ball with no cover charge and a best costume prize.
The Stoney Flats Harvest and Peter Murray’s pumpkin patches and corn mazes close down after Halloween so it’s your last chance to get lost in some fall farming fun.

The Barking Parrot Bar’s Halloween bash starts at 9 p.m. with $12 early bird tickets for entry before 10:30 p.m. and $17.55 tickets for entry anytime. There’s a $1,000 best costume prize.
The Hub on Martin has an event with live music for those who prefer a band to a DJ. Tickets are $10 and there’s a musician themed costume contest.
The Trick or Treat wine pairing at Three Sisters Winery is on until Nov. 2. There are five wines paired with some Halloween candies from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.
The Tempest Theatre’s Theatre is Dead event is a wine tasting with a live performance. Attendees can show up in costume to walk around different parts of the theatre to see various characters and hear some ghost stories.

Field of Screams has a deal to check out all four mazes for $25 on Halloween night.
SilverStar Brewing Co. is having a Halloween party with $12 early bird tickets for entry before 10:30 p.m. and $17.55 tickets for entry anytime.
Fandango Farm is having The Spookiest Showdown of the Year event with 13 artists set to keep the dance floor going from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
