
Many Proline players cashing in on New Orleans Saints’ early struggles this season
It’s shaping up to be a tough season for Kellen Moore and the New Orleans Saints.
Moore is in his first season as the Saints head coach. And on Sunday, New Orleans lost 44-13 to the Seattle Seahawks to drop to 0-3.
But New Orleans’ struggles proved to be a huge gain for Proline bettors. According to the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp., 93 per cent of players backed Seattle in the game.
Meanwhile 92 per cent of bettors backed the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in their 29-27 victory over the New York Jets while 87 per cent of players were behind the Indianapolis Colts in their 41-20 win over the Tennessee Titans. And 84 per cent of players predicted correctly in supporting the Los Angele Chargers (23-20 victory over the Denver Broncos) as well as the Philadelphia Eagles (33-26 victory over the Los Angeles Rams).
On the other hand, seven per cent of players successfully backed the Cleveland Browns (upset 13-10 win over the Green Bay Packers), 11 per cent saw the Carolina Panthers winning (30-0 over the Atlanta Falcons) while 20 per cent took the Chicago Bears (31-14 over the Dallas Cowboys).
On Sunday night, the Kansas City Chiefs earned their first win of the season, a 22-9 decision over the New York Giants (0-3). Eighty-one per cent of players backed Kansas City with 76 per cent having the Chiefs at -5.5 and 16 per cent correctly predicting the under 44.5.
The Detroit Lions downed the Baltimore Ravens 38-30 on Monday night, a result just 38 per cent of bettors backed. Thirty-eight per cent also had the Lions at +4.5 while 80 per cent correctly backed the over at 53.5.
In baseball, the Toronto Blue Jays went 3-4 on the week but became the first American League team to clinch a playoff berth with an 8-5 victory over the Kansas City Royals on Sunday. A solid 82 per cent of bettors backed the Jays’ win while 86 per cent had them on the runline at -1.5.
Eighty-one per cent of bettors had the over at 8.5.
A Proline digital bettor won $10,838.76 with a $50 bet on a seven-pick American college football parlay. Meanwhile a retail player turned a $10 bet into a $12,810 windfall on a two-pick college football parlay _ Maryland win by over 12 points against Wisconsin, Syracuse win by over 12 points against Clemson.
Another retail bettor won $1,362.40 on a $1 wager on a seven-pick soccer parlay.
