A woman in Okanagan Falls was left with minor injuries after she was hit by a truck, but the driver didn’t stay to check.
RCMP are looking for the vehicle and its female driver after an elderly pedestrian was hit in a marked crosswalk on July 31, according to a news release.
The victim was crossing at the intersection of Main Street and 10 Avenue in Okanagan Falls around 2 p.m. when she was struck by a grey, newer model GMC or Chevrolet pickup, police said.
A woman with medium-length hair, believed to be in her late-60s, was behind the wheel.
The truck left the scene and police are looking for witnesses or camera footage from the area. Anyone with information can contact Penticton RCMP at 250-492-4300.
