Car slides into flat bed in West Kelowna

WEST KELOWNA – Westbound traffic was down to a single lane following a two vehicle accident in West Kelowna near the bridge Friday morning.

According to a witness at the scene, the driver of a mid-size sedan was passing a Waste Management flat bed carrying portable toilets when he clipped the front tire, spinning his car around and badly damaging the front end.

Both drivers were uninjured, however traffic will continue to be slowed as crews work to clear the lane. Roads conditions may have been a factor.
