Vernon man wins $630,000 playing a lottery slot online
A Vernon man was bored while waiting for his friend to arrive so he decided to play a lottery slot online.
Joshuah Haymond played Snake Rattle and Roll when he won $630,000 on May 3, according to a press release from BCLC.
“My friend was running late, so I decided to play the game on PlayNow,” he said in the release. “My first thought was, ‘What the heck just happened?’ I was so excited.”
Haymond has been keeping his win a secret, until now.
“I still haven’t told my girlfriend. I wanted to make sure it was real before I told her,” he said.
He plans on celebrating with a fancy dinner and doing some renovations on his home.
