RCMP asking public for help to find missing Kelowna puppy

Kelowna RCMP are asking for help to find a puppy that appears to have been stolen from a backyard.

A resident in the 1900 block of Burtch Road returned home just after 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 18 to find her dog was missing, according to an RCMP media release.

“The puppy had been tied onto a dog run in the yard,” Kelowna RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Jocelyn Noseworthy said in the release. “The owner returned to find the lead still there, but the puppy gone.”

The 11-week old boxer/mastiff cross is fawn coloured with a black nose, weighs about 20 lbs. and has a long tail.
