Andrew Gibson scored twice as the Oshawa Generals topped the London Knights 4-2 on Thursday in Game 1 of the Ontario Hockey League final
Matthew Buckley and Calum Ritchie also had goals as Oshawa took the lead in the best-of-seven series for the J. Ross Robertson Cup.
Generals goaltender Jacob Oster made 30 saves for the win.
Rene Van Bommel and Kasper Halttunen scored for London.
Knights goaltender Austin Elliott stopped 22-of-25 shots.
Oshawa went 3 for 9 on the power play and London was 1 for 3 with the man advantage.
