Film company working on romance movie in Peachland supports food bank
A film company shooting a movie in Peachland for the upcoming Hallmark movie Romance at Crystal Cove has also support the little community's food bank.
CMW Summer Productions Inc. and Lakeview Construction are donating their rental fees to the Peachland Food Bank, said David Collins, a Peachland resident who helped coordinate the two companies for the donations.
"It was just warm and fuzzy all around," he said.
Film crews are in Peachland this month gathering footage at various private and public locations around the town.

He originally announced the $2,500 donation in a Facebook post.
"With COVID-19 and many out of work or with reduced earnings, the food bank will be more relied upon than ever this winter. Please remember to be generous this year if you can. CMW is parking their equipment trailers on Lakeview Construction’s vacant lots across from Bliss Bakery on Sept. 13. The rental fees are being donated to the food bank," he wrote, adding that the film company also pitched in an extra $500.
