UPDATE: Concerned citizens spot missing 14-year-old Kelowna girl
Kelowna RCMP say a missing 14-year-old girl has been located and she is safe, thanks to tips from concerned citizens.
Reina Hodgins was reported missing today, Aug. 10, after she was last seen at around 12:30 p.m. yesterday at her home in Kelowna, according to an RCMP media release.
RCMP believed she was in the Kelowna area “in the company of an adult male.”
The man is unidentified but video surveillance from an area hotel where Hodgins was seen indicates the man is associated with a newer model white Ford Mustang convertible with a black soft top and no front license plate.
“Officers are still looking to speak with the unidentified man seen with the youth in video surveillance photos,” Kelowna RCMP spokesperson Const. Solana Paré said in the release. “Anyone with information on the unidentified man or vehicle is asked to contact police.”
Anyone with information on the unidentified man in the photos is asked to call the Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300. Callers who wish to remain anonymous can contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
