Body of West Kelowna man found; death not considered suspicious

The body of a 49-year-old West Kelowna man, missing since July 18, has been found.

Glen Tarbet was reported missing on July 18 and RCMP say his body was found on July 20. The cause of death is not considered suspicious at this time.

RCMP said Tarbet was last seen leaving his West Kelowna home at 5 a.m. on July 17.

His Ford Explorer was believed to be in the area of Bear Creek and police canvassed the area.

The B.C. Coroners Service is also investigating to determine how, where, when and by what means he came to his death.
