Talking crow says ‘hello’ to Kamloops man
In case you hadn't heard, crows are pretty sharp cookies.
The omnipresent birds are crafty foragers and sometimes make and use tools.
According to allaboutbirds.org, they've been found using a cup to carry water over to a bowl of dry mash; shaping a piece of wood and then sticking it into a hole in a fence post in search of food; and breaking off pieces of pine cone to drop on tree climbers near a nest.
Now they're apparently making small talk — in Kamloops, anyway. This video shot in Kamloops July 2 shows a little back and forth between a crow and a human.
