Gellatly boat launch closes next week for improvements

WEST KELOWNA – The Gellatly Boat Launch will be closed beginning Wednesday, February 4, 2015 for approximately one week as the District improves this popular amenity.

The improvements include the replacement of concrete ramps on the south side of the launch, addition of a fourth lane, construction of a new south retaining wall and boardwalk to match the north wall and installation of landscaping, decorative lights and additional floating docks.

Boaters requiring launch service during this closure may use West Kelowna’s Casa Loma Boat Launch.
