Dr. Bonnie Henry’s Fluevog shoes go on sale tomorrow

The shoe designed as an homage to B.C.'s provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry is almost ready to step into the limelight.

John Fluevog himself has noticed Dr. Henry's been wearing his designs and now he came up with an homage to her.

Fluevog announced that the shoe has gained "overwhelming interest" and a pre-sale will begin tomorrow, April 23.

"The shoes will be available for delivery by late summer 2020, due to expected delays and unknown circumstances around production and delivery, we are unable to guarantee a fixed delivery date at this time," according to the Fluevog website.

One hundred per cent of the profits from the sale of this shoe will support Food Banks B.C.

Dr. Henry "has been an outstanding source of knowledge and reassurance during the current fight against COVID-19," the website states.

She has been known to wear Fluevogs to the odd press conference or two.
