Kangaroo Creek Farm announces later opening day

With temperatures rising to double digits and the sun peeking in through the clouds, this weekend has a decidedly spring-like feel to it.

While warmer days mean something different for everyone, one community staple gets a lot of love this time of year — Kangaroo Creek Farm.

Its opening was set for mid-month, but the farm announced today that they're delaying, just a bit.

"(The) revised opening date is Friday, March 20. It's not just the weather that's not co-operating. We've also had a couple of unforeseen glitches associated with our move," according to a social media announcement.

"You'll just have to spend a few extra days skiing or snowmobiling instead."

Hours of operation will be the same as last year: Seven days a week, including the weekends and the holidays, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

And that will be at 5932 Old Vernon Road, in Kelowna. Until then head over to their Facebook page and soak in a little kangaroo cuteness.
