LETHBRIDGE, Alta. — Hunter Laing led the way with two goals as the Saskatoon Blades survived a late push from the Lethbridge Hurricanes to hold on for a 4-3 win on Wednesday in Western Hockey League action.

Kazden Mathies and Hayden Harsanyi also scored for Saskatoon (29-18-3-4). Ethan McCallum made 29 saves.

Shane Smith, Brayden Edwards and Kooper Gizowski replied for Lethbridge (34-19-2-1), which dropped its third in a row. Jackson Unger stopped 20-of-24 shots.

Harsanyi put the Blades ahead 4-1 8:54 into the third period, where the tide would turn just a few minutes later.

Ewan Huet kicked out 38-of-43 shots for Regina (14-34-5-2), which lost its sixth straight game.
