Vernon RCMP are releasing photos of the suspect in connection to the assault of a bus driver in December.
A passenger allegedly rushed and assaulted a BC Transit bus driver while the bus was moving near the intersection of 34 Street and 17 Avenue around 9:15 p.m. on Dec. 27, according to a press release from police.
The driver managed to fend the attacker off and stop the bus safely. Once the bus was stopped the suspect got off and left the area on foot.
The assault was captured on video and police have put out images of the suspect hoping someone from the public can identify him.
Anyone who can identify the man has been asked to contact Const. Sean Mikolajewski from Vernon North Okanagan RCMP at 250-545-7171 and quote file 2024-21392.
